For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. Off the coast of southwestern Mexico:
The low pressure system located a few hundred miles south of the
southwestern coast of Mexico is becoming better defined and
thunderstorms are consolidating near the center. If these trends
continue, a tropical depression will likely form on Tuesday. This
system is forecast to move slowly northwestward off the southwestern
coast of Mexico during the next few days. Additional information on
this system, including gale warnings, can be found in high seas
forecasts issued by the National Weather Service.

2. Off the coast of Central America:
A trough of low pressure located off the coast of Central
America is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
This system is expected to move slowly northwestward, and some
development is possible over the next few days as long as it remains
offshore. Environmental conditions are forecast to become less
conducive for development by the end of the week. Regardless of
development, locally heavy rains will be possible across portions of
Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, and southern Mexico during the
next several days..
