Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure extends from the eastern U.S.
into the northern Gulf. Gentle to moderate E to SE winds prevail
across the Gulf, with slight seas. Hazy conditions due to
agricultural fires in Mexico continue across most of the western
Gulf and Bay of Campeche. High pressure will remain NE of the
basin through the end of the week to produce moderate to locally
fresh E to SE winds across most of the basin, becoming SE to S
Fri and Sat.

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft
or less. Haze.
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.WED...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A weak stationary front extends across the northern
waters, from 31N64W to 1011 mb low pressure near 28N76W then
continues as a trough across the Florida Straits. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms prevail across the western Atlantic
between the front and 64W, supported by a deep layered upper
trough. The front will weaken by Wed morning. A trough will
develop just southeast of the weakening front and extend into
the central Bahamas on Wed, then drift eastward through Thu
night. Moderate winds and seas will prevail in the western
Atlantic with the front and trough through midweek. Weak low
pressure is expected to develop just N of Hispaniola Thu night
and shift N-NE through Sat, accompanied by moderate to fresh
winds and active weather.

.THIS AFTERNOON...S of 27N, W to NW winds less than 5 kt in the
afternoon. N of 27N, N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon.
Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of
27N.
.WED...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft.
.WED NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
3 to 4 ft N of 27N.
